Commercial

Hand-painted feature walls for offices, showrooms, businesses and workplaces that want to strengthen their brand and environment.

Retail & Shopping Centres

Large-scale murals designed to create engaging spaces that encourage people to stop, explore and share.

Community & Education

Murals for childcare centres, schools, sporting clubs and community spaces that bring colour, creativity and identity to the environment.

Residential

Feature walls designed for homes, entertaining areas and personal spaces looking for something unique.

Why a mural

More than a blank wall.

A mural earns its place, it works for your space long after the paint dries.

  • Brand brought into the room

Your colours, your personality, painted at scale, not printed and stuck on.

  • A natural photo moment

Walls people stand in front of, photograph and tag, free reach for your venue.

  • Overlooked corners transformed

Dead walls, back courtyards and blank facades become part of the experience.

  • A venue people remember

Somewhere that feels like itself, not like everywhere else on the strip.

Process

From blank wall to finished mural

Never commissioned a mural before? It's simpler than you'd think, five clear steps, no surprises.

  1. 01

    Consultation

Every project starts with a conversation. If you're in Brisbane or nearby, I'm happy to meet on site. Otherwise, we can chat over the phone or by video. We'll talk about your space, your ideas, your goals, your budget and your timeline so I can understand exactly what you're looking for.

  2. 02

    Concept & Quote

Using everything we've discussed, I'll create a mural concept designed specifically for your space. You'll receive a visual concept along with a detailed quote, and we'll refine the design together until you're happy to move forward.

  3. 03

    Approval & Booking

Once you're happy with the concept and ready to proceed, a 50% deposit secures your booking. We'll confirm the final artwork, colours, timeline and project details before painting begins.

  4. 04

    Painting

I'll arrive with everything needed to complete your mural, including preparation materials, paints and equipment. Where possible, I can schedule the work around your trading hours to minimise disruption to your business.

  5. 05

    Completion

Once the mural is complete, we'll do a final walkthrough together to make sure you're happy with the finished result. The remaining balance is due on completion, and you'll receive professional photos of your mural to use across your website and social media.

About

Hi, I'm Ashleigh.

Every business has a story to tell, and sometimes a blank wall is the perfect place to tell it. Your Local Mural creates custom hand-painted murals for commercial, hospitality and community spaces across Brisbane and South East Queensland. Every mural is designed to complement the space, reflect your brand and create an environment people enjoy spending time in. Hi, I'm Ashleigh, the artist behind Your Local Mural. I work closely with businesses, venue owners and organisations to create murals that feel like they belong. Whether it's a brewery, café, childcare centre, shopping centre or office, every project starts by understanding the people using the space and what you want them to experience. From the first conversation through to the finished mural, my goal is simple: make the process straightforward and create something you're proud to have on your wall.
Pricing

How pricing works

Every mural is different, so every quote is tailored to your project.

Commercial murals typically start from around $1,500, with pricing depending on things like:

  • Wall size
  • Design complexity
  • Surface preparation
  • Access requirements
  • Location

If you're still in the early planning stages, that's completely okay. Send me a few photos of your wall and I'll happily provide an obligation-free estimate and talk through your ideas.

FAQ

Common questions

The things people most often ask before commissioning a mural.

How much does a mural cost?
Every project is different, so pricing depends on things like the wall size, design, access and location. As a guide, most commercial mural projects start from around $1,500. If you're not sure where your project sits, send me a few photos and I'll happily provide an obligation-free estimate.
I don't have a design yet. Can you help?
Absolutely. Some clients come to me with a clear vision, while others simply know they want to transform a blank wall. I'll work with you to develop a concept that suits your business, brand and space before any painting begins.
Can you paint while my business is open?
Where possible, yes. Every project is different, but I'll always discuss the best approach with you and, where practical, work around your trading hours to help minimise disruption.
How long does a mural take?
Every mural is different, so timeframes vary depending on the size, complexity and location of the project. Once we've discussed your project, I'll provide an estimated timeline along with your quote.
Where do you work?
I'm based in Brisbane and work throughout South East Queensland. If you're unsure whether I travel to your area, just get in touch, I'm always happy to chat.
